We are weeks away from Snezhnaya and I went back and rewatched A Winter Night's Lazzo and I am not the same person I was when I started it.

This cutscene dropped in 2022. No one knows how long it has been since all the Fatui Harbingers last gathered. That was the opening line. And back then most of us were watching it as a piece of world-building, a cool cinematic flex, a way to put faces to names. La Signora dies on screen and it was shocking and it was meant to be. Scaramouche walks away. The rest of them disperse. And the Tsaritsa says nothing. She is barely in the scene. She does not need to be.

Watching it now knowing what we know is a completely different experience.

And now the Tsaritsa, Anastasya, the one who barely speaks in this entire cutscene, is confirmed coming to Snezhnaya with the pointed ears of a Snowland Fae and a voice line that says "that which I set in motion, I shall see to an end."

Every single person in A Winter Night's Lazzo is either playable, confirmed coming, or dead. In 2022 they were all just silhouettes with titles. Now we know their names, their lore, their losses, and in some cases their complete story arcs
