Genshin Impact Version 7.0, titled “Everwinter Without Mercy”, launches on August 12, 2026, bringing the long-awaited Snezhnaya region, new characters Odette and Alyosha, and the Cryo Traveler.
The trailer delivered one massive moment after another, including the long-awaited appearances of Pierro, Ronova, and the Tsaritsa. One of the biggest talking points has been Ronova targeting Paimon, leading many players to believe her true identity is far more important than anyone imagined. At the same time, seeing the Traveler confront the Ruler of Death head-on with a level of anger we’ve never seen before has made fans even more excited for what’s to come.
Overall, Version 7.0 is already being called one of Genshin Impact’s most ambitious updates yet, with the arrival of Snezhnaya, major lore revelations, and unforgettable story moments raising the stakes higher than ever before.
